After hearing from numerous teachers, parents and other educators about how frustrated they were because they could not find quality, age appropriate, educational materials without spending a fortune, Trading with Teachers was born.
Trading with Teachers is a win-win for everyone…teachers, parents, homeschool families, educators, students, children, and the environment.
The best part about Trading with Teachers is that it is FREE to use. In addition we are a 501 (C) 3 nonprofit organization where any items donated or financial support received is a 100% tax deductible write off for the donor. It can’t get much better than that!
This site is an on-line trading service, where members can access details about other members unwanted educational materials, and list materials they no longer need. This site was born out of the insight that retiring teachers, teachers changing grades, parents with children growing and learning, homeschool families and other educators struggle deciding what to do with items they no longer have a use for, but at the same time have a need for a different selection of educational materials. With that in mind, we recognized that there was indeed a place in today's economy for these individuals, and that place is here!
